Like other hackathons, hack|ED will serve as a catalyst for inspiration, collaboration and professional networking, but what sets this event apart is a focus on exposing the next wave of creators to the people, culture and concepts that drive innovation in Dallas-Fort Worth and beyond.

Experienced attendees will participate in the hackathon component, which focuses on wearable devices, while middle and high school students with an interest in technology, but little or no coding experience will take the education track, where they will learn the basics of app development, hear from some of the area’s top tech and design leaders and attend the pitch phase of the hackathon.
